This past July, Lindsay and Trevor tied the knot at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their wedding was absolutely perfect and so Santa Barbara. From the tropical floral design to the sparkler send-off on the beach, their wedding celebrated not only their love, but the place they call home.

The wedding day

To begin the day, the two got ready in separate rooms with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Lindsay, of course, had their sweet husky pup, Mila, with her and the girls! While the groom and his groomsmen adjusted bowties, said cheers to the groom, and took group photos under the Hilton Santa Barbara arches that overlooked the ocean, the girls wore matching robes, put on lipstick, and fawned over how beautiful Lindsay’s ring is!

Once everyone was ready and individual wedding party photos were complete, Lindsay and I headed over to the ceremony location where her soon-to-be husband was waiting. They shared their first look while Lindsay walked down the aisle with all of their loved ones watching. And during the ceremony, their officiant made sure they took a moment to look out at the crowd and really soak up the moment. Then they sweetly paid tribute to their parents, honoring both parties with red roses and hugs.

They then said “I do” with the sound of the ocean in the distance and walked down the aisle, hand-in-hand, cheered on by those who love them. They stopped at the end for a quick kiss and then waited off to the side for the rest of their wedding party to join and congratulate them.

After all of the formalities of family photos were done, Lindsay and Trevor joined their guests at cocktail hour outside of the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. They spent a moment enjoying their guests and having a drink to celebrate.

Once sunset arrived, I stole them way to the beach with their dog for some intimate and romantic beach photos. This was a great moment to give them a second to breath and be alone together. Of course, being so close to the beach had Mila very excited, and she quickly escaped to run free (and oh so happy) back and forth through the sand. Luckily, Lindsay and Trevor are the sweetest, most laid-back couple and just laughed it off. We watched as Trevor chased their pup up and down the beach, trying to regain control of her leash.

Finally, with the sun set, Lindsay and Trevor listened to sweet and funny toasts given by their family and friends, thanked their guests, and danced the night away until it was time to say goodnight with a sparkler exit on the beach.

It couldn’t have been more perfect.

A tropical wedding vibe

Embracing the tropical beach vibes of Santa Barbara, Lindsay wore a stunning mermaid crepe dress with pearl beading on her shoulders and train while Trevor wore a classic white tuxedo jacket with black slacks. The bridesmaids wore matching dresses that were a pale, neutral color and had a silky shine to them while the groomsmen were dressed in classic black tuxedos.

Their florals included bubble gum pink anthuriums and roses and their ceremony overlooked Santa Barbara’s East Beach with the sounds of waves crashing in the background. Their cocktail hour overlooked the ocean and, of course, their grand exit had to be on the beach!
